My first attempt at Substance Designer, a fully procedural painted metal material. I tried to focus on realism as much as possible, both in the appearence of the materials and in the Aging process. The material is controlled by an Age parameter, which controls cracks expansion, dirt & rust, and by a Worn parameter, indipendent from Age, which allows for crack size tuning.
Other customization includes:
-Paint Color
-Choice between a predefined sets of metals or a custom metal color
-Custom curvature map for driving the cracks
-Custom extra mask for fine cracks positioning
